Eternal Dominion Book 20: Tribulations

Write for yourself, not for someone else, or you'll never love what you write. When I penned these words on December 2nd, 2008, my 18-year-old self had no inkling that I would ever produce anything more significant than a college essay, let alone write a book. In fact, when someone first suggested that I would one day write a book, I found the idea laughable. Now, however, I can't envision myself pursuing any other vocation for the remainder of my days.

Life's paths are never straightforward, even if they appear uncomplicated when we embark upon them. They can be fraught with tumult, joy, sorrow, and happiness in ways that we could never anticipate. There are moments when navigating these paths seems insurmountable, but the gravest error any of us can make is to remain stagnant, thus missing out on the opportunities that lie ahead. For this reason, I press on, hopeful that my journey will bring a bit more joy into the world and willing to confront the darkness that may come my way.
